How amazing would it be if email marketing was as simple as 1, 2, 3? I’m sure we’d all throw a party or two and rejoice.

Unfortunately, it’s a little more complicated than that. But let me be totally honest with you right now… email marketing can be incredibly beneficially and a huge source of income for your business.

If you put your effort into it, your email marketing will all be WORTH IT!

I for one never doubted the power of Email Marketing. I loved it then and I love it even more today as a crucial part of my marketing strategy for Web123. It has helped my business and many of my clients so tremendously that it’s almost impossible not to fall in love with it.

And today I’m gonna show you 3 damn good reasons why you too should love email marketing. If my words are not enough to change your mind, then these studies should convince you as to why a solid email marketing strategy can be beneficial for your business, your website AND a much juicier bottom line.

Email marketing is a proven way to ensure you get more leads from prospects. I know this is true because every time I send out an email to my loyal followers, it ultimately leads to an increase of enquiries that very afternoon.

To show this, a study by Custora shows that on average, the lifetime value of customers acquired through email is:

  • 35% higher than those from Twitter.
  • 11% higher than those from Facebook.
  • … and 4% higher than those from affiliate marketing.

Customer Lifetime Value or CLV is the value a customer brings to your company in the long run through repeat purchases of your product or service.

This simply means that the leads who signed up to your email campaign are more likely to become lifelong partners and users of your website. Pretty nifty huh!

And it’s not just lifetime value either! Digital Marketing Association (DMA), a direct marketing research and market intelligence company, reported that email marketing was one of the most influential form of marketing, with 66% of online consumers making a purchase after reading marketing materials through their emails.

3. Email Marketing Has a Low Cost Entry.

As if the reasons above aren’t enough, I present to you the best one: email marketing is one of the most affordable forms of marketing out there, and is more likely to not only pay for itself, but also bring a higher profit margin to your business.

Of course, like any other marketing activity, there are costs involved in starting it up. However unlike Facebook advertising and Pay Per Click advertising, you won’t have to funnel thousands of dollars into it in the hope that you’ll turn a profit.

In fact, thanks to it’s low start up costs studies by DMA have shown that email marketing has, on average, give a whooping 4,300% return on investment. That’s HUGE!
